Kids on the Block performances are not only educational, they are also lively and entertaining. The Kids on the Block International Performing Troupe can help you learn the puppetry skills you need to make the puppet characters come alive for the children in your community. We offer several training options to help you develop skills and learn how to most effectively use our programs. |
 WE CAN COME TO YOU...Our International Performing Troupe offers beginning, advanced or combination training workshops to local troupes. We will conduct a one or two day workshop at your site and train up to 25 puppeteers. A local training includes a performance highlighting your topics, hands-on experience in our style of puppetry, instruction in the art of answering questions, character development skills and much, much more! The workshop is a morale booster for puppeteers - it will lead to upbeat rehearsals and performances!

Arrange a training at the International Headquarters in Columbia, Maryland. This four hour, hands-on training is available for groups of two to six puppeteers. Your time with us will include lunch and a tour of our puppet workshop!

The Kids on the Block, Inc. has a training video, "Bringing the Kids to Life." We think training is so important that we include this video, free of charge, to all first time purchasers of Kids on the Block puppets and programs. Additional copies can be purchased by phone, fax or mail. When purchased, the video comes with four training workbooks. The video becomes an excellent supplement to hands-on training.
