Caring For Animals
The Life Lessons Kid decides to volunteer at the local animal shelter for a community service project. When some animals are not adopted from the Pet Adoption Booth, the Kid tries to take in an unmanageable and unimaginable number of animals. With help from a friend, the Kid learns about animals’ basic needs, including attention and kind treatment. Later, armed with an understanding of the care animals need, plans are made to take in one pet while finding appropriate ways to help other animals in need. (3rd - 6th) |
