The Kids on the Block Program on Learning Disabilities was designed to encourage understanding and acceptance of children who have a learning disabilities or other disabilities.  This curriculum is an educational tool designed to:  

• address emotional stigma felt by children with a learning disability
  
• explore learning styles and strategies for best learning success
• examine intelligence as separate from learning style 
• address teasing and bullying based on a child's difference
