"I think [the program is] a great way to ease disability tensions. It helps kids identify. It also helps them make connections that they're not different. It seems like even though all the kids can relate, it's especially great [for kids with disabilities] to see someone in a wheelchair being the hero. It sure is gratifying for them to see that they're not alone."

"The CP script is like the grand finale for us. I think the kids really jump in with Mark and they really relate with him. When [the students] refer to Mark, they're really excited about all of the things he CAN do. They seem to focus more on what he can do than what he can't do...The end result of what we're doing will be in 20 or 30 years. We're offering information to the general public. Maybe a cashier, a clerk, an employer, a neighbor, or a friend who encounters one with a disability will one day have acceptance and understanding of what that person is living with."
