KIDS ON THE BLOCK CREATORS INTRODUCE PRESCHOOL VIDEO


Columbia, MD (January 15, 1998) – The Kids on the Block educational puppet troupe brings 20 years of performing experience to video.  The Kids on the Block Early Learning Series introduces young viewers to four new Kids on the Block characters; Todd, Mai, Miguel and Suzette in three entertaining and educational stories.  

Produced by The Kids on the Block, Inc. and Development Productions, this award winning video is designed for children ages three to six.  Three ten-minute segments deliver lessons on aggression, compassion and perseverance.

In "Blocks," a conflict between Todd and Suzette results in anger and frustration until Suzette's older brother, Mark Riley, helps diffuse the situation with a lively and practical rhyme.  "Monster," explores good health habits when Mai and Miguel find a lost puppy.    "Shoes," finds Suzette learning that truthfulness and friendship, accompanied by persistence are the right combination for success.
